Jack Holman- Officially Retired- Founded lodge in 1975. Built Jack Holmanbusiness from nothing to become the best flyJack Holman fishing lodge in Alaska. Raised in upstate New York, after college he moved family to the Alaskan bush to take teaching jobs. One of the early innovators in the Alaskan lodge business, his success is most certainly attributed to his charismatic, hard working, "do anything it takes" attitude. Jack, who guided and flew daily for over 30 seasons, currently resides with his wife Sue in Northern California.
Jack Holman35 + years of Alaskan bush flying without a single accident Still makes yearly appearances at the lodge.

John Holman- President-
Grew up in the lodge life. Guiding and flying John Holmansince 19. Born in New York, moved with family to the Alaskan bush in 1970. Parents were school teachers, Dad, Jack Holman founded the lodge in 1975.
Married to Kari in 1994, three children, Sydney-11, Jack-9, Luke-4. Resides in Palmer Alaska during the winter months. Took over lodge operation 2007.
Interests- Flying, Hunting, Fishing, Scuba diving, Riding snowmobiles, spending time with Kari and the kids.

Kari Holman-Vice President- Born in California, raised in Kari HolmanAlaska. Married John in 1994, began Kari Holmanlodge life immediately. Graduated college in 1993 - BA in Accounting. Currently raising three children, Sydney 11, Jack 9 and Luke 4. Kari takes care of lodge book keeping and the full time job of keeping John on the right track.
Interests- Hiking, fishing, travel

Chris Anderson- Pilot/Guide- Born in Georgia. Raised in Alaska. Chris AndersonGraduated College 1994, Northern Arizona University, BS in Eco Systems Science and Management, Started his flying career in high school. Came to work at the lodge in 2000 as maintenance man. Chris has a natural flying ability not found in many people. He has proven himself many times over as a very safe, professional pilot and first class fishing guide.
Interests- Flying, hunting, traveling.

Jeff Parker- Professional Fishing Guide- Born and raised in Utah. Jeff ParkerBegan a lifelong fishing obsession at 5. Guided 6 years at Lee's Ferry Anglers on the Colorado River. Started at the lodge in 2001. Guides in the off season in Northern California for Steel head. "Parker" epitomizes the term "Fishing Guide". His unparalleled knowledge combined with his "everyday is a good day" attitude make for a guy people come back to see year after year.
Interests- Fishing, Turkey Hunting, willing to trade guiding for turkey hunting land.

Caleb Hitzfeld- Professional Fishing Guide- Born and raised in Texas. Caleb HitzfeldBegan fishing at 5. Worked at Lee's Ferry Anglers on the Colorado river for 3 years. Began guiding in Alaska in 2004. Currently operates Steelhead guiding service in Forks Washington in the off season.Caleb HitzfeldCaleb has gained a reputation for being a very competent, solid guide. He has an extensive background in all types of fishing, is an accomplished fly tier and knows how fish think.
Interests- Fishing, Tying flies, Raising his daughter.
Coast Guard Captain, First Aid, CPR First Responder

Dave Yoder- Professional Fishing Guide- Born in Maryland , raised a Dave Yodermilitary brat all over the world. Began flyfishing over 20 years ago. Started Dave Yoder guiding in Colorado in 1994 and Alaska in 2003. Currently resides in Florida in the off season where he guides for Bone fish, Permit and Tarpon. Dave is our newest Dave Yoderguide but he brings years of experience in Southwest Alaska and a desire to provide the best experience available.
Interests- Fishing, flying, Skiing, anything outdoors.

Katrina Mitchel- Kitchen/Housekeeping-
Born and raised in Northern Katrina MitchelCalifornia. So young I won't put down her age. Started at No See Um in 2007. Katrina is theKatrina & Gerald hardest working, happy, person in Alaska. She prides herself on going above and beyond her duties and is a real asset.
Interests- Snowboarding, spending time with family and friends.

Bobby Hickman-Pilot/Guide- Born in California, raised in Hyder, Bobby HickmanAlaska. Began his outdoor career Mt.Baker ski area, then as fire fighter on a Hotshot crew. Eventually commanded a crew. Began hisBobby Hickman flying career in Hawaii, flew in NY for a while then moved back to Southeast Alaska where he flew Beavers for Taquan Air. 2010 will be Bobby and Shannons first year at No See Um.
Interests- Snowboarding, hiking, boating, surfing

Shannon Hickman-Baking/Food Service- Born and raised in Alaska. obby HickmanMoved around the state growing up and eventually settled in Ketchikan. Received a BA in Political Science and Business Admin. in San Diego. Just finished MS in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Several years in the tourism business in Ketchikan, where she met Bobby.
Interests- Being outdoors, snowboarding, kyaking, hiking with Bobby and Lucy.
